Technology Support Services
We offer free and donation-based tech support or consulting services for non-profit organizations. We are particularly interested in helping organizations set up public computer labs and wireless networks. Contact us at support@freeitathens.org with your needs to see how we can help.
Equipment Grants
We have refurbished computers and computer accessories that we make available to non-profit organizations and community groups in Athens. You are welcome to purchase it during our open hours. If your group cannot pay the normal prices, you should complete our grant application and deliver it during our open hours or mail it to our post office box. Our systems do not come with proprietary software (e.g. Microsoft Windows, Mac) installed. If you have any questions about computer equipment grants, please contact sales@freeitathens.org.
Training
We are always eager to partner with non-profits and community organizations that are interested in developing training courses for their staff orthier clients. Areas we are particularly interested in are:
- Basic software/hardware skills and knowledge development.
- Training in usage and awareness of free and open source software.
- Computer and Internet security and safety.
