Get A Computer

Free IT Athens' main goal is to get technology into the hands of the citizens and organizations that call Georgia home. If you would like to get a computer from Free IT Athens, you have three options:  
  • Volunteer
    • 12 hours of volunteer work earns a desktop computer, and 20 hours earns a laptop. Laptops are in limited supply, and are not always guaranteed.  As with all of our computers, these come with free tech support for the life of the machine.
  • Buy a Computer
    • You can purchase a desktop computer from us for an all-included price of $50. Keep in mind that we do not sell laptops, as those are reserved for volunteers.
  • Grants
    • If you are a 501(c)(3) certified nonprofit organization, you can apply for grants of computer hardware from Free IT Athens.
